Enjoy a wonderful day of adventure and play at Almond Valley; West Lothian's most popular paid admission attraction.

Set in a green riverside site extending for almost a mile, Almond Valley offers delights and discoveries for every member of the family. At the heart of Almond Valley lies Mill Farm where the historic watermill and stone-built byres have served the local farming community for centuries. The farm is home to a range of friendly farm livestock ranging from Clydesdale horses and Highland Cattle through to rare breeds of sheep and goats. Within the new “wings and whiskers” building  you'll come nose to nose with pets and poultry, and enjoy regular “meet the animal” sessions. The nearby arena is venue for many other seasonal activities including milking demonstrations and lamb feeding.

Cross the river by footbridge and you'll discover the wonders of Charlesfield; an array of paddocks and pathways, woodlands and gardens.  There are trampolines and pedal carts, Highland hoopla, the nutty bouncer and many other surprises. Dig up your ancestors in Bones and Stones, or simply relax in the orchard. Climb aboard the trailer to trundle around the outlying fields of the farm, or take a trip on the narrow gauge railway.

Whatever the weather there's lots to enjoy. Morag's Meadow soft play provides a magical world  for youngsters to explore whilst older children can join in the rough and tumble of the Adventure Zone. In the warmth of the museum, interactive displays tell the story of West Lothian's famous shale oil industry, and there's always colouring-in and craft activities to exercise your creative skills. Morag's Milkbar serves a delicious range of tasty snacks, often using produce grown in our own gardens, and the gift shop stocks some wonderful souvenirs

Almond Valley welcomes visitors every day thought the year and offers incomparable value. Admission starts from £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for children (age 3-15 years) and £6.50 for Seniors, with further discounts for families, groups, and school visitors.
