For the first time in around 150 years, local produce will be transported from farm to market via canal barge.
The Veg Boat will be making its way from Narrowboat Farm, 2 miles East of Linlithgow, into Manse Road Basin.
The veg will be transported on the replica boat "Wee Spark" and vegetables will be available to buy at the canal basin from 11am until 4pm. All the veg is naturally gown at Narroboat Farm, chemical-free and tasty!
As well as the veg boat, the on-site tea room will be open in the afternoon.
Regular short boat trips around Linlithgow will be available to hop on-hop off on the day. Or if you fancy a longer cruise, you can book the popular 2.5 hour Aqueduct Cruise at www.lucs.org.uk which departs at 14.00.
