Home from Home Bed and Breakfast in Livingston is ideally located for tourists and business travellers alike. The true comforts of home are in plentiful supply in both our twin room, and our double room.Away from the hustle and bustle of city centre establishments, Home from Home is situated in a quiet residential area with convenient motorway links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Linlithgow, Fife and beyond, making many tourist attractions within easy reach. 

Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament, Linlithgow Palace, Stirling Castle, The Falkirk Wheel and the Gateway to the Trossachs are all less than 30 minutes away. 

Having the distinct advantage of close proximity to many local businesses, Home from Home is also an ideal base for visitors to Kirkton and Alba Business parks where SKY TV, Shinetsu, Ethicon and Atos Origin are just a few of the commercial interests based in the local area.

Edinburgh Airport is just 15 minutes away and, depending on the mode of transport, Edinburgh City Centre is around 15-20 minutes away. Glasgow City Centre is approx 35-40 minutes away.Journey time by train to Edinburgh Waverely is 18 minutes. 

Courtesy pick up and drop offs in the local Livingston area (including Livingston North and South train stations) are available on request.

Guests at Home from Home have unlimited access to the bright and comfortable lounge with Sky TV and via the patio doors, they are also free to relax in our beautiful garden. 

At Home from Home, breakfast is served in our lovely modern dining room overlooking the garden, we offer refreshing fruit juice, a range of cereals, full scottish breakfast, tea/coffee and toast.

Whilst they do offer a courtesy pickup and drop off service in the local area, the traveller who prefers to travel completely independently will find the closest bus stop to the house a mere 5 minute walk away and the local railway station will take around 20 minutes on foot.
