Animal Attraction

Head up to Beecraigs Country Park and visit the Animal Attraction this summer. The Red Deer herd, established in 1977, can be seen from the viewing platform and along the Sutherland Way walk.

You can also see the impressive, hardy Highland Cows at Beecraigs alongside their very cute calves in the spring/summer.

The Views

It's no surprise that some of the most Instagrammable sites within are the Country Parks! Beecraigs offers views right across West Lothian, as well as out to the Forth Bridges and Pentland Hills.

The winning cover from our #MyWestLothian competition was also taken at Almondell & Calderwood Country Park.
