The Park Bistro is located a mile to the East of the historic burgh of Linlithgow. Situated on the picturesque banks of the union canal, the family owned bistro is a popular dining spot.
Converted from an old grain barn on the family’s working arable farm to its current form, the bistro provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, which can be enjoyed when with friends and family or alternately for evening candlelit dining.
With a 70 cover main dining area and full length windows on one side, those eating can enjoy the canal-side views.
In addition to the main dining area, the Park bistro offers the use of a private dining room free of charge, catering for groups of up to 20, for any special occasion. Outdoor dining is available on the large patio, which allows customers to take in the countryside air in better weather! The bistro presents a varied menu, available all day, which is supplemented with the head chefs daily specials.
The specials often consist of game, seafood with Scotch Beef used to make a variety of dishes. A children’s menu for under 9′s is offered for those younger diners which is a mini version of the adults menu (chicken nuggets will not be found here!)
The countryside location is a large benefit when it comes to sourcing local produce; in fact the garden of the adjacent farmhouse is often raided!
Along with our beef, we endeavour to use local suppliers for all our meat, poultry, fish and vegetables.
The Park Bistro has a large car park, allowing for easy access which is not always available in the town centre. Our cycle rack and dog rail encourage our customers to enjoy a meal, then to walk or cycle home along the canal towpath!
