Visit West Lothian, working with a number of local Golf Courses, have today launched the "Golf West Lothian" campaign to encourage locals to discover the affordable golf clubs on their doorstep this summer.
The campaign, which will run throughout the summer months, will feature a social media campaign under the "Golf West Lothian" channel as well as a dedicated "Gold West Lothian" landing site on the Visit West Lothian website.
Working with West Lothians Golf Courses and the Linlithgowshire Golf Association, the landing site will contain frequently updated information on how businesses are responding to COVID-19, as well as the membership offers that they have in place.
A social media advertising campaign, funded by Visit West Lothian, is also underway to support this effort. The campaign is the first joint project between each of the Golf Courses and Visit West Lothian and represents partnership working which will be key to supporting businesses through the recovery stages of COVID-19.
Over the coming months the Golf West Lothian project will widen to include other complementary sectors, such as accommodation providers and attractions, to help support West Lothian as a "Hidden Gem" location and place the area on the map, with the creation of a range of digital content.
