Polkemmet Country Park

Popular 68 hectare (168 acre) visitor attraction near Whitburn with woodland walks, play area, picnic facilities, Visitor Centre, golf course, driving range, and home also to the Scottish Owl Centre. Open throughout the year, free entry.

Visitor Centre housed in old stable complex, offers warm welcome together with information & advice, facility bookings and interpretative displays. The Polkemmet café is also located within the courtyard area.

The main entrance gate to the Park is locked at 21:00 (April - September) and 20:00 (October - March).

Visitor Centre Closed: 25-26^th December & 1-2^nd January

Take junction 4 off the M8 and take the A7045 on to the B7066 following the brown signs to the Country Park

Postcode for sat nav: EH47 0AD.  There are a number of car parks within Polkemmet - the south car park is the largest and there are smaller car parks beside in front of the owl centre and by the golfing range.
