The Club was formed in 1994 and was built mainly by the kind voluntary work of some local Bridgend people on land which was formerly used for shale mining works. The Haughburn Course which we enjoy today officially opened in April 1999.
Bridgend Golf and FootGolf is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays) all season round (weather dependant) and offers the opportunity to play the fast growing sport of FootGolf. We have a fantastic social course which has 18 challenging but exciting FootGolf holes suitable for all ages from 5 to 85yrs old.
FootGolf is a combination of golf and football and requires no equipment except from a pair of trainers!!! It is £15 for an adult and £8 for an under 16. You can bring your own ball or you can hire one for £2. You can book online, phone up to book or just turn up and pay to play.
We will also be introducing a par 3 golf course which will be available to play in 2023. The course is situated in the village of Bridgend and has stunning views over the Forth Valley to the Ochil Hills. The club house also has a super chef offering meals from 10am till 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Village of Bridgend is situated just off the B9080 lying between the towns of Linlithgow to the west and Winchburgh to the east.
The golf course is well sign posted once the village is entered.
Our 9 hole golf course, suited in Balbardie Park of Peace @ Xcite Bathgate, offers players an ideal course suitable for beginners as well experienced golfers.
Bathgate Golf Club is the proud home of 2 Ryder Cup Captains– Eric Brown and Bernard Gallacher. The course is a generally flat 18 hole course
Binny Golf Club was formed in April 2002 two years after the opening by Bernard Gallacher, of Oatridge Golf Course, which lies in the grounds of Binny Estate adjacent to East Binny House.
