It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and boy do we have a great festive period for you in West Lothian! With joyful Christmas markets and merry family fun it is certain to top Last Christmas. So why don’t you Step into Christmas in West Lothian, for it Tis’ the Season to be Jolly and have a Wonderful Christmastime with these 5 Festive Christmas Events!

1. Hopetoun Christmas Shopping Fair

If you are tired of the festive high street hustle and bustle, and fancy a day out in glorious surroundings, then look no further than the Hopetoun Christmas Fair. Set in the iconic stately home, this fair will take place from Friday 30th- Sunday 2nd December and is a must for those wishing to soak up the festive spirit and at the same time find the unique gift for special friends and family members.

2. Linlithgow Victorian Advent Fayre

Enjoy a day out at the Linlithgow Victorian Advert Fair on Saturday 24th November, 10am - 6pm. With craft fairs, farmers markets, children’s entertainment, a visit from Mrs Claus as well as Santa and a grand torchlight procession with carol singing to finish it all off, it is sure to be a fabulous start to the festive period. 

3. Christmas Fair at Jupiter Artland

Jupiter Artland will once again be transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland, with boutique craft stalls, live music, mulled wine and delicious seasonal street food. Don't miss the Santa's Grotto, festive Donkeys and Christmas Tree yard. Jupiter Artlands Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday 1st December to Sunday 2nd December from 11am – 4pm.

4. Jack and the Beanstalk

Howden Park Centre's Christmas Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk - takes places on various dates throughout the whole of December. They've got magic beans, dancing cows and a special wee lassie who wants to prove she's no one hit wonder!

 Tickets start at £16 for an adult and £56 for the whole family, with last years show a sell out so don't wait too long before getting your ticket!

5. Torphichen Christmas Market

 Take a trip out to Torphichen and visit their Christmas market. The event, taking place on Saturday 24th November, will be a festive and fun filled afternoon with some beautiful and unique artisan stalls showcasing the best of local talent. The day will end with the switch on of the Christmas Lights.
